Life is beautiful. Life is tragic. Life WAS more simple (no social media instant computerized gratification) in the 1970s and 1980s. NEVER STOP LISTENING. Cut back on the Slipknot!! . I taught Guitar-Metal, Funk, R&B, Pop, etc music, songs, Lead guitar for years. You should learn to play an instrument if you do not already. What I am saying is NEVER stop letting the music TAKE YOU TO ALL PLACES BEAUTIFUL. All places.... Especially when things get dark. Be well and be happy . You look young and healthy. Enjoy both as long as possible. Sieze each day. Losing hope in your youth makes me sad.

PrincessCadence2012 Dude, Ridley didn't, It was the studio. Made him replace the soundtrack for the euro market, as there were copyright issuses. Both ver's of movie are great. TD soundtrack still the best!!!

***** WHY? NONE of it made any sense.. probably cus they had to leave a mess of crap out mind.. if you watch it with th e deleted scenes it makes more sense.. but as it stands.. the movie was HORRID! Thewhole point of the thing was "Lets see just how GROSS we can be sh all we?" the women in that movie were NOT heroines they were as much victims as 1000's of other women in 1000's of other movies. Example: The blond captain.. she was all hung up on getting her fathers approval.. who btw.. had made the andoriod dude and disowned his daughter who was so hung up on it.. that she put her self in those positions just to get his approval and then, like the victim she is.. gets rejected by him again. and the brunette... shes mostly just lusted over by the android guy, no emotions my ass, and while she does step u p at the end.. the fact is.. she got p ut in to a position where she because she was a female she was used and had some trumatic thing done to her. You want a REAL heroine.. James Cameron's Riply and in Scotts first alien movie, was a real heroine. Promethus was just two more girls caught up in a situation they couldnt control and then put in trouble because they were female. NOW you DONT have to agree with me.. You may in fact love the movie and find them Very heroic ... Its just I didnt. and that is in fact my opinion. You dont have to agree.. but please dont flame me.

Born in 83 and this movie goes hand in hand with other classics like The Labryinth and Clue. This movie and soundtrack holds so much magic for me, truly an amazing gem in it's time and holds up so well! Such a good message and inspiring. Listening in late 2021 and helping me through a hard time. Love to you all who connect to this movie and soundtrack too!

+rodeopac It's not a great movie but it's by far a terrible performance from him, just horribly casted. My guess is that he was overthinking the role and his lunchtimes with the writer were idly spent.

This is the ONLY movie of Toms that I will watch. After his religious rants I’m done with his movies. Tim Curry trumps him in this movie.

I love this movie and the soundtrack! ♥️😊🕊️ Thank you so much for sharing it. This movie changed my life. It showed me about life, good and evil. It taught me how evil has to trick you. It taught about betrayal, to know that though you stray from goodness, as we all do occasionally, kept your heart pure and this is no easy task. The beautiful lesson here is when you care for others more than yourself, it always turns out good for you, and those you help with love and kindness. Note: The Dark Lord was played by Tim Curry!
