I always seem to butt heads with you. As i thought to enter the comments zone it was for the purpose of pointing out that worthwhile as this piece may be it lacks the inspired genius of Quadrarivium and other symphonic poems of later date than this piece.

Lírica estremecedora la de Maderna sobre textos de Hölderlin y fonemas de Helms. Lo milagroso de la creación es poder dar vida a textos sin aplastarlos a su contingencia, salvándolos de la glosa. Haciéndoles partícipes de una finalidad sublime, la de alcanzarnos para ser. Ser en ellos remozados, aun si el vértigo nos haga dudar de la aventura. ¿Remozados?, si ello implica transfiguración, como la mariposa al salir de la crisálida que la envolvía, deja de ser la oruga que fue para volar sobre los campos en flor en busca de un más allá que la perpetúe. Vencedora y vencida pues solo así la vida nos renueva.

First time I glanced at the title, I thought it said something about Bruno Mars. Dude is pretty talented in a world of crappy musicians and singers, but I don't think he has anything on this Bruno Maderna guy. By the way, this is some pretty creepy music. If this guy didn't have the opportunity to do scores for horror movies, then that's a huge crime.
