Dear you! This is one of the best literature and lingustics channels active at the present and we are spreading the word among scholars and readers in Norway! Keep at it with your fabulous work, we beg you. You are an inspiration to us all.

Schulz flummoxed me and the imagery of his writing is deeply soulful and redolent with oneiric passages of which description becomes precise actualized images and atmospheres ,in ways I can't understand I can feel his environs latent with so much otherworldly passion ,thank you for an epicurian evening God Bless Bruno Schulz an artist in the most authentic sense

An illuminating discussion! I especially liked the discussion of living in language as if in exile.

A brilliant and enlightening conversation. Thank you! The Schulz passage about mannequins made me think of Isaiah 44:9-17. Too theological?

Not too theological at all. Schulz had a particular interest in idolatry and published a folio of cliché-verres, the title of which is usually translated “The Book of Idolatry.”
