i know this is an old as dirt post but just got to play V and i gotta say what makes the Ange mechs so powerful is not only their evasion but the fact that almost all the pilots have persistence which makes them almost immortal goddesses pretty much since they will almost never get hit and even if they do get hit it won't do anything.

I haven't finished it yet, but I would say she got onto the road of being a better person early when she first meets up with the ZZ, 00, and seed pilots. Im cool with Embryo being the main bad guy, but I think there's a secret scenario at the end that reveals the true villain. (When you have 26 aces or so.)

Looking through the comments I don't understand why this show gets so much hate good music badass mechas good animation some pretty nice battles You can argue for the waifu aspect and while some of the girls are indeed hot this is a classic case that you get baited with the waifus and eventually see the series through the end for other reasons. Not exactly a fan. I didn't even know what the anime was until I played the SRW X than gladly found the Cross Ange girls were also in V and I heavily enjoyed the characters in the game so I went to watch the anime and wasn't dissapointed. IMO the hate for this show is unwarranted and simply based on the fact that some of the fan service could've been skipped. Fan service can sometimes make a terrible show servicable in the eyes of some people. But fan service can actually harm a potential fantastic anime into nothing special :(. Which is what sadly happened to this show. Fan service took away from the show. And i don't dislike fan service quite the opposite but this show could've been fantastic without it.
