I am amazed at the new Columbia 300 balls. The Pure Madness is a great complement to the Scorpion Low Flare. The PM looks good for tougher broke down oil patterns. Nice review.

I'm a fan of smooth, controlled arches with bowling balls and this seems like a future buy for me. I'm getting a Stealth Track Solid drilled right now with a 3 1/2 inch pin. Depending on how that looks for me, I'll probably do something similar to this one.
@FredSoDak7 ай бұрын
Looks as if it could be a great replacement for Track Legion Solid that has been beaten up. Wood lanes, 42', 9:1 ratio pattern. Slower response works great here (skid/flip not so). I like darker colors also; keep the black & red -- sometimes 2 colors are plenty.

I think it would be great if Columbia 300 would go back to the old logo they had on their bowling balls back in the day

When you played out it burned up in the midlane and rolled dead forward. When you played much further inside the extended time in the oil helped it retain energy better but it was not convincing. I think this is just one of the low rev bowler throw it straight up 10 balls.

Nick for the price of the Columbia pure madness vs. the hammer 3.0 that you video for us. Both come in at 159.00 so I would probably get the 3.0. Hammer. Thanks again for the awesome video. I’m trying to buy 3 new balls 2 asymmetric and 1 symmetric, ethos would be one or the other one from Brunswick with the crazy core.?? Let me know what you think. Thank you nick

Ethos vs Endeavor, the Endeavor just a bit cleaner and sharper off the spot for me. Both are similar motion, Ethos maybe more continuous, Endeavor quicker change of direction.

I used to have a Columbia 300 yellow dot primal rage that I loved. Tbh man this ball looks like it's wanting to pick up early and wouldn't have a problem covering some boards and playing angles like u said with some surface on it. I noticed u really have to drop your speed tho to get it out there wide and come back. Does look like a good ball to be able to keep speed up amd play down in and as well. I do agree with you I'm not a big fan of all these crazy colors on some of these balls lately they look almost graffitish. Not a fan. But hey to each his own.
@brunsnick8 ай бұрын
Yep, not a fan of the big colors either. I would likely use a lot more surface to use this one. Maybe 500/1000 instead.

NU Blue. 👍🏻

@brunsnick thanks! How would the NU Blue Hammer differ from a weak, entry-level resin on these conditions? Just want to make sure it's what I'm looking for. Thanks again

It absorbs oil at the slowest rate, has a higher RG and the cover is easily tunable. It’s an easy ball to control when the lanes are dry.
