How do you fix the 180 stop when the machine is stuck in the 270 mark

I work in a busy 38 lane alley and I got one stuck jammed on a pin, won’t cycle engage anything and deck is LOW. It’s on hold.I will learn just started bout a month ago. Every night toward the end has been hell

To be honest (and no I'm not wishing any bad on you by saying this lol) it's good in a way that the machines need work. I only had 12 lanes to deal with and aside from some spinning balls down back there really weren't many issues which I feel slowed down my learning, BUT when things are running poorly you'll get into more stuff and learn the machines more quickly and in-depth. I worked in a 64 laner with AMF's for 11 years. Not a terrible running center but with that many machines and different issues coming up I learned a LOT and FAST. You'll get that place running much better as you go along and learn! Just start by getting the fires put out, constant repeat calls and any MAJOR work that needs to be done. Once you get over that hump you can tweak and adjust and get the lesser issues better and fixed up. It'll take some time, just hang in there, I know how irritating it can be but don't let it get to you, just do your thing from the worst and big issues and keep widdling your way down and in time the center will be running great! :)

I had a lane couple nights ago during league fry its cycle solenoid out. Replaced the unit after league and now the machine stops at 270 after 1st ball is thrown. I've tried adjust the solenoid couple times but hasn't corrected the problem yet. Books calls for interlock and couple other adjustments. Before I try those, any other ideas to try before I start getting carried away?

Would like to know some of these answers to. Having some of the same issues.

i would think the 180 interlock is it. because the only way we can clear them is by pushing the 180 lever. I looked at the most recent one to do it continuously and I couldn't see anything wrong with it.

oh and by the way, our machines usually get stuck in a 90 or hanging bananas due to idiots hitting the rake, just had to throw it out there. we rarely see 270s, though.

What would cause a 270 to continuously happen. I work at a 60 lane center that hasn't had much upkeep since probably when it opened in the 60's.

and that is the plunger you pull up on before lowering the deck manually to clear a black out, right?

okay, cool. you are my mechanic buddy when my mechanics don't want to play 20 questions...so with that said, the reason you engage the clutch is so that when you rotate the motor to gearbox belt you can lower the deck, right? otherwise you will be spinning and spinning for nothing?
