Why do restaurants and cafes putting their tables and chairs on the street car parking spots? this was not the norm... they were just putting them on the side walk at a proximity and NOT that far away on the main roads.......do you have any idea about this? I think this looks a bit strange/scary for motorists to have someone eating on a table at the roadside.

It started when they were opening up between COVID waves, so there’s more space to eat outdoors where it’s safer. I’ve been on some of those, they’re safe - speed limit there is now 30 km/h.
