It's easier to use hand movement at first to learn the strokes, then you can start practicing whole-arm movement once you get more comfortable with it.

Hey, thank you for sharing with us! Is it possible that you should set the camera so that it records from your shoulder? Then, as a viewer, we have a much better chance of seeing when and where you are restarting the brushpen and!going from thick to thin drawing. These subtleties are very important and in the current video only to guess. I would be happy, if that can be set up! Best regards from Germany!
