Check out "Drone Mesh" dude is a wiz at fixing ESC's. I recently bought a hot air re-work station and spent a Sunday bringing 7 ESC's back to life. Used some beyond help ones to fix the save able ones. All bang good specials cuz I'm cheap as hell 🤣

Big Bee mine is taking off strong within 10 seconds the motor or esc goes into limp mode I changed everything esc motor radio and tried multiple batteries same result, any suggestions? Thanks bro ✌🏼😎👍🏼

I feel you BIG B. Blew up a flycolor 90 after getting prop tangled in rope. Sent out recovery boat and it suffered the same fate. So I had 2 dead boats out in the middle of the lake. Luckily my neighbor had paddle boat🤣

What would cause my boat to get up to full speed and cut out power all together... 5 sec goes by and I can bring it back... repeated this multiple times and finally brought it back on low throttle and it made it back

Oh man not sure about that, try binding to another radio or reminding your current radio, escape could be bad or receiver could be shoot

I liked the duct tape...... It's IRONCLAD! As soon as I saw a rope wrapped around the prop and no "GO", my first guess was you popped one of the FETs on the ESC board. With a sealed ESC, there's no way it can be replaced. It's now a cool paper weight and a spare parts donor. I know, I have a box full of similar paper weights... 🙄

Idk i think the modifications I did to the bottom center ride pads actually kept the nose of the boat down substantially. Most of the reason i Sanded in a little dead rise on the center sponson was to bring the nose down and reduce wetted area. If she starts blowing off the water @ 90 plus I may use an air dam? We'll see what happens! Waiting on another slick calm day

I have a RCBB 175a esc, offshore 4082 x2 1650 kv motor along with a MRX 200 receiver hooked up. I am able to activate the servo but can’t get the esc to connect to the motor….there is a very quick continuous beep beep beep of the motor….what am I doing wrong? The esc and motor are brand new, never been used before. I tried binding them both several times with no success. How can I get the esc and motor connected.

So it looks like I need to pull out the middle red wire on the throttle wire and heat shrink it. And then proceed thru the binding process…..thx

I had a problem with my Vortek Rc no power to motor or steering esc was burned out so I got a better esc 120 amp instead of 100amp now running perfectly.

Just got a veles 29. I was fully expecting to flip it multiple times but only flipped it once. I found as long as you stay in the throttle when turning it has no issues turning. Something about it makes me not even enjoy my sonicwake V2 anymore

This happened to my Snap On m41 and my horizon hobby tugboat off the st John River in Canada, lost both of them that day. Tried to get them but the current was too strong and moved them further away.

I have a fly color 150 amp receiver I’m trying to put in one of my boats and I just got it and I’m pretty new to these. When I plug it in and power it up it beeps and then keeps going through like a programming beep sequence I’ve tried setting my throttle two or three times and the sequence of beeps changed up a little bit but it still does the same thing any ideas?

Hold the trigger full throttle while your pluging battery into esc let go as soone as you hear 2 beeps ( hold full for 3 or 4 seconds after pluging battery)

I’ve watched that opening scene 3 maybe 4 times now, the 29 was moving out!!! I had a 150amp, looks just like the two in this video, after receiving it in the mail it took me several months to finally get around to using it, turned out to be a dud, never worked, it was cheap, should have bought from OSE. Big B! Hey I’ve got the same issue. I think too big of prop hit rudder on UL19 with Firma running 6s. I also hooked up the stock ESC and still no throttle just steering. I have no start up tones coming from either ESC. Am I up shit creek? It was second run with Firma dual cooled large bore lines.

Sounds like the receiver. If you have another receiver try it , same deal process of elimination

Hey big B. Looking at new receiver online & see that the SR315 has failsafe mode?? Possibly locks out the throttle? My DX5 rugged told me to bind at low throttle to reset failsafe. Any idea what that means?

Thanks for the vid. I have a 90 amp flycolor in mine and was running good. Last time I went out I plugged the battery in and after several seconds the ESC emits one short beep followed by a 3 second pause followed by another single short beep. This continues with no throttle response. When it beeps the motor does a slight movement. I checked the trouble shoot guide and I didn't see anything for this single beep sequence...have you ever encountered this?

Plug battery in if it's still doing the same thing try moving the throttle to reverse while esc is beeping? If that doesn't work rebind the esc w/ recalibration

@@IRONCLADRC I really appreciate your help on this. I tried reverse no luck, tried full forward trigger while plugging batter in and it will not enter the programming mode. It takes about 5 seconds after plug in for me to start hearing a single beep and it just continues. I also tried putting a new MRX 200 receiver to replace my SRX 200 that it came with thinking the receiver might be bad. My controler is the stock STX2. Is there any programming to do in order to link the controller to the receiver? I also have no rudder controls. Racking my brain over here lol

Just ordered the Veles, and raider 150. And duel cooling rudder, Is the single line cooling working OK, or should I do a duel out with a Y fitting like on the sws? Ever think of turn fins, or trim tabs on your Veles??

So I'm still running single cooling, upgraded single pickup rudder. Ose Dual pickup rudder should do the trick if your wanting a cooler setup.... No turnfins or trim tabs needed for this boat, you'll see she's a rocket out the box with an abc 1616 or 42 high rake

Overall my experience with flycolor /ose esc have been positive since I've been running them, I've had better experiences with flycolor than hobbywing, hands down!

My catamaran ran 150 flycolor with 4S TP4050CM Motor (twin setup) which suck 320 Amps… ran like a champ. Now i switched to 6S to get the current down. Runs cooler and even faster… BUT i still can not believe how tough that ESC is!
