One of the easiest way to add shimmer to your watercolors is using glitter pens!!! Just a take a golden/ silver pen, remove the cap and from the end blow through the pen until glitter ink starts oozing out of the tip...put the ink on a palette with watercolor mix with brush... You won't believe how metallic and shimmering they'll turn out to be!!! And that'll save a lot of money 😅... Please do give it try, would love to know if you liked it.... P. S. Thank you the video🙏

I have this set. It works beautifully for calligraphy. I also bought Brustro metallic gouache to try out. That too works well.

Which is better for beginner? Watercolor vs poster vs acrylic paint? Which will be better for realistic drawing also? How much sketching skills required for painting? Do we need to outline with pencil 1st?

Which is better for beginner? Watercolor vs poster vs acrylic paint?- Acrylic colors are easiest to use for its quick drying property. It's also easy to coverup mistakes and rework with acrylic. Which will be better for realistic drawing also?- All three are good for realistic works How much sketching skills required for painting?- Sketching is extremely important if your aim is realistic painting. Do we need to outline with pencil 1st?- I prefer outlining with pencil colors since the particles in lead pencil may contaminate the paint.
