When you shot the Nutcracker point blank and it countered and shot you, the reason it shot so fast was because shotguns do 4 points of dmg max, but the Nutcracker has 5 hp now. Hope this helps!

36:24 the bad nutcracker you ran into is called the "Nut Slayer" it is immortal by default but the immortality can be turned off in config. if you do manage to kill it, it will drop a modified shotgun called the slayer shotgun which has more range, damage, has infinite ammo with no safety and fires both barrels per trigger pull

this entity is known for its hostility towards everything it sees (examples: thumpers, bees, baboon hawks, other nut slayers). it fires in a 3 burst when it attacks. it has a lives counter if immortality is turned off which can also be altered in config. the shotgun itself weighs about 62 pounds so expect trouble running from entities. you will know if it is present if you see event descriptions involving the words "doom" or "god". will also appear in the hell event (forces an eclipse on the moon and forced ALL bad events to occur)

you can actually kill giants with a shovel but you have to leave the door open and don't get too close to the giant also you'll have to step back when it's starting to fall or else you'll get crushed (i got crushed the first time i killed a giant)
