It's like landing on concrete compared to landing on a pillow. The pillow will soften ur landing by spreading your impact over a larger time period, boxing gloves are there not because they are more "powerfull" they are there because you can break your hands without them on impact

In Bare knuckle you need to be more careful with the punches you throw because your hand actually feels the pain. Unlike in boxing or mma where you can just unload on your opponent. I do believe though that hand taping should go away as well.

This is mainly for the love of fighting. Not really about pay. Most of the old fighters can't hack it in the octagon anymore. Most of the young fighters are trying to pave their way to the octagon (or boxing ring). Not a lot of money to be made from bare knuckle boxing. But this is combat sports to it's core.

I like these fights but I'd almost like to see a version with no wraps and mma rules, I guess that's too close to a street fight to get permission though.
