Love SV 650's, especially in pearl vigor blue, my favorite color. Just bought a '23 SV, before they're no more. Blue tank and tail, bronze frame and wheels. Long live SV 650's!

I have a 2000 SV650 running a Delkevic exhaust. Sounds great, and runs frighteningly well once we got the carbs sorted. Love this bike so much

That is wicked! The delkevic is a very similar exhaust to SP engineering. The carby model is great. rejet the carbs. You get a kit, comes with a new jets and a new needles. It's good you did that to match the exhaust and let that great twin breathe!

Yoshi sounds deeper and not as harsh. The shorty sounds like my Delkevic in my 08 SV. Not bad but a bit louder and harsher. The SV sounds completely different while at wide open throttle and high rpm’s.

I have an sp engineering and a Yoshi RS3 which I had to put back on because the sp messed up my fueling and it wouldn't rev past 8k

I found the sp pipe made idle a bit rough but overall the engine felt more rev happy and gave good midrange power. Sound is amazing. Rs3 improved the sound alot from stock, definitely opened it up but still feels choked compared to the sp canister. This was on the efi sv650 in the video.

I prefer the yishitoshiyoshi exhaust note. Less likely to get a tug from the Rozzers too.

I sold the black one on to my older brother, I bought the second blue pointy for a really good price and was going to sell it again to make some cash, but i might settle down with them and keep both.

People tend to prefer the second generation SV. Its lighter, alloy frame bigger tank. Inexpensive on used market. The 2003 was very popular as it was the first of the second generation.

Inline fours sound great. The best is a v4 as it's a combination of both. Or Yamahas CP4. I still like my twins. Watch my latest video it has a twin and a inline four.
