@@PlasticScot Depends on the length and number of allies/enemies. If I had a Sarissa and I was facing several men, I don’t think I could backpedal fast enough. But if I was facing just one or had people behind me I’d absolutely take it. And a shorter spear means if you hold it further forward or move it back you aren’t hampered at all.

@@mralmond693 No the allies didn’t, they were repulsed at 2 of the landing sights and at other areas it quickly became Trench Warfare, in which the Ottomans could get reinforcements unlike the allies. The allies, due to former naval attacks, lost the element of surprise and German mines and submarines made it incredibly difficult to bring more ships in.

Every year from 1939 to 1945 must have a significant event, for example: 1939 can have the invasion of Poland, 1941 can have the US entry in the war, 1942/1943 can have the battle of Stalingrad, 1940 can have the winter war between the Finnish and soviets, 1944 can have Operation Overlord/Operation Dragoon/Operation Queen/Battle of the Bulge/Battle of Saipan, 1945 can have Operation Elephant, Battle of Iwo Jima, Battle of Berlin, Battle of Castle Itter, etc. You choose.

I recommend you do something like para troopers I’d love to see that hey maybe to change it up do the battle of Crete german paratroopers landed there without any heavy weapons because their heavy weapons were stored in containers which were dropped separately so when the Germans first landed all they had were knives and pistols there was also some Greek farmers who faught the Germans when they landed also btw the Germans are fighting British and Australian forces and also the German mission was to take an airport that would give them supplies and reinforcements so for the first round do the Germans very scattered fighting Greek farmers and some British or Australian soldiers like about 10 because I think they would be just patrolling also the Germans on the first round only have pistols and knives the next round they get heavy guns like mg42’s mp40’s and etc and you can put some other rounds but for the last round the Germans took the airfield (if they won the last round of course) and the Germans would have more troops and back up Hope you do this battle :)
