She promptly replied and promised me a pick of his. And after around 2 weeks, a hand written card has arrived at my postal address which had Chuck's pick taped inside it and a few sincere lines written by Mrs Jane Schuldiner. It's a classic Dunlop Tortex green pick that's heavily worn out 🙂 I'm keeping it in its small original envelope which was sent from Florida, Tampa, Altamonte Springs. With this occassion, I would like to thank this great musician's mother for making a promise and keeping it even when it was the hardest times of her life. 🙏🙇🏻♂️

Bobby Koelble is fantastic. Not only is he an excellent guitarist, but he's a genuine fan of Death's music - just watch how much he's into the music, singing along to the lyrics too. And man it's so great to see Steve D flexing his bass skills live - I feel that he doesn't utilize his full potential in Testament sometimes. @michaelr.48786 жыл бұрын
@@Lithuania8634 - No. I'm not mad that I do not or can't play fretless. I'm pretty sure that as long as the neck had painted on markers or inlays, I could catch on pretty quickly..just like anyone else who has played for over 2 decades. But I wouldn't want to. Why would you play an instrument that you do not like the sound of? They sound like fart machines to me. If you use the 'fretless techniques' like the long slides guys do on them, you could pretty much play them like a normal bass. But why play fretless if you arne't going to use it for its features? I do not care for STeve's style of playing when he uses a fretless. To me, it sounds like a fart. Sorry, but it just does. That is my personal opinion. It becomes very distracting. Especially with someone who overplays ..like he often does. ..Why do you think that he has been essentially mixed out of several albums that he played on??? For like 20 years, we didn't knwo what the bass on Death's, 'Human', sounded like. Now we do....and while the extra low frequencies are nice..the bass is wayyy over played and distracting at times.
