@@Admiral_Bongo They're one of the most succesful, sure, but still not as successful as Cannibal Corpse/Morbid Angel/Obituary, so i would not be surprised if being in a band at the Nile level (big in death metal, but not huge either) could be a bit tight revenue-wise (also : don't forget that bands make money mostly from touring now, and Nile doesn't seem to tour as much as they used to, or at least not more, while album sales (and revenue) have dropped significantly). I'm not saying you can't make a decent living by being in Nile. I'm just saying it's very likely that it can be tight money-wise.

Most metal bands are also young. If the band is good, they might stick around for a while like some of the older bands you alluded to

The best thing a band can do live is look like they are having fun. Despite being a brutal, evil sounding band, these guys are smiling at eachother and moving to the beat, and seem like they are having the time of their lives. I cant wait to see these guys live in person.

Zech Evans it’s intimidating if your a musician I’ve seen them about 5 times and I study the techniques it makes you feel you’ll never get to their level but you will, they also sound just like the cd never seen a bad show even with about 4 different bass players and singers

I saw them in 2013 during their 20th anniversary tour, and it was one of the tightest, most brutal shows I've ever been to, and I have been to a LOT of extreme metal shows. Easily one of the best live bands around.

Karl Sanders is what, 54 now?And still killing it as only he can! I enjoyed the hell out of this video, and this is maybe the most animated I've ever seen them onstage--the fist bump between Karl and the bassist says it all and shows that I think this is the happiest and most excited lineup of Nile I've ever seen, and I've seen them live many a time in the last 17 years or so.

I talked to Karl for a few minutes after the second live show they had played with England, and he was in a great mood. He told me he hadn’t been this excited about the band since they turned into a 4-piece. So, if he’s that excited then hopefully it means good things to come.

This was on the Thursday, 10th of August, 7PM. The show was amazing, Nile smashed the crowd. At 3 were Cryptopsy, then Nile, at 10 Emperor and at 12 Suffocation. So, you could eat and drink in peace without losing any of these. As Lou Reed said "Such a perfect daayyy"

Few years ago, when Nile was in my city i went to the venue, had my coffee (I dont drink alcohol). Dallas came around, sat on the other side of the bar, ordered coffee and was trying to relax a bit (travelling with a band is quite exhausting thing). Few people came around, asked him for photos and to sign their albums. He clearly looked tired, so i left him alone to relax.

Easily one of the best live performances and recordings of Nile. Just what, two songs? Just from that, so much greatness: male-bonding moment, triple-vocal attack, George's drumming! Good lord. Amongst other things (everything he does), I love his use of the little splash cymbals, adding little off-beat accents here and there. Gives his playing spontaneity. Top-notch live death metal.

Brad and Karl's chemistry on stage is surreal. Being a band that has gone through many bass players, I truly hope Brad is here for the long haul. I as well as many others, I'm sure were gutted when Dallas announced his departure from the band. Brian though has definitely proved he is the only other person on earth for his replacement. His voice is absolutely identical to Dallas', which is what I'm sure most fans were worried about. Vile Nilotic Rites has become one of my favorite albums from this fantastic band and I pray to the non-existent god that this line up is the final one until Karl lays this endeavor to rest. ALL HAIL NILE!

So glad I got to see my favorite band at least once while Dallas was still lead vocals. I'm so impressed by Brian though, he sounds very similar and takes good care to preform the growls in the same way Dallas did. He seems to have very good range, just like Dallas. Not only am I impressed with the sound and video quality but Brian is a really solid replacement for dallas.im looking forward to hearing the next album and catch them on tour.would be good if they do what Metallica done with st anger with the additional live rehearsal DVD.
