My advice is to hangback for a couple shows and see how others act. I did that when I first started going to hardcore shows when I was 14 and I never had any problems. Just don't hit the wrong people.

Don’t fuck with people that are in Crews also if you don’t want to throw elbows and knuckles and spin kick or are expecting to not be hit with all the above get to know everyone make friends that will have your back all the time and you will be just fine I’m 53 and have been dancing at shows since I was 12 in BOSTON and NYC CONNECTICUT, and NJ and RI so you can take what I have to say and you will figure it out eventually after you get beatdown a bunch of times. it’s usually always the same people and Crews at every show just get to know everyone in the scene and eventually it will be beautiful have a great time and Hardcore saved my life good luck
