Soooo many inaccuracies in this video. It hasn’t got ceramic brakes, those are steel….(ceramics are a rare option) The Electric seats are part of a pack (also makes them heated and a heated steering wheel) HK audio makes the audio much better. Apple car play is standard for from 2018… You say this car has all options, when it’s pretty low spec to be honest. Visibility is great I find, I am a short arse though 😂 Real world weight is more like 1600-1700kg sadly. A cheeky remap makes it even better to drive, 600bhp 575ft lb area. Totally changed the drive in my opinion. The diff calibration actually works better at higher speeds, low speeds it doesn’t lock up as easily. Easier to do high speed drifts but no so good at drifting out of a junction in 1st gear, I generally do in 2nd gear or 3rd gear and it’s happy to lock the diff then. Surprised you say that it doesn’t excite enthusiasts that have driven other cars like it, I’ve come from M3/M4’s and I find the Alfa far better to drive. You need to drive a proper spec’d one 👍 you driven a fairly rough looking low spec one so no wonder you are not particularly excited. The seat bolster wear too 😢

Had mine for 18months and love it. Always liked Alfa though so knew what I was getting into. Though, I’ve not had any major issues at all. A small niggles at first with a pinched vacuum hose, but plain sailing ever since. I do find it won’t spin up the rears in 1st in the dry but if you keep it pinned it will let go in 2nd and get the arse waggling a bit. Very predictable, always seems to point left when it lets go

I own one of these so I will speak from my honest opinion sorry but I’m going to take issue with you on your point that you say the car is too predictable handling wise & you could do with more of a driving experience? Yes the car in A mode is very normal & a great daily however in Race it’s insane & bordering on dangerous even if you’re an experienced driver & even then this car can still bite you up the back side when you’re least expecting it. Honestly don’t like you saying it’s too safe trust me it ain’t you need to be on your A game when in Race or be prepared to end up in a hedge especially if you’re running P Zeros in the damp or wet. Regarding lack of electric seats rubbish sound system & no touch screen or Apple car play this has all been sorted out on the new face lift model that you obviously weren’t driving.

Had mine for 5 months and best car I’ve driven . Makes driving to work a joy . Comfortable and very fast and gets the looks . A must is the milltek exhaust . Never heard anything so sweet when I floor it . A keeper as for the money nothing can touch it .

This is a car that needs some time to get used to. I liked it when i first drove it, now i love it. Btw, the manual seats are just an option thing, i got mine electrically operated. I got blind spot assist cuz the pillars. Also, i got mine tuned to 683hp and is also lowered and running 20” tires. Lovely to drive every time and feels nice that i can be a quite quiet when i want and an absolute hooligan when i want to.

Good review, but a few notes…the bucket seats are Sparco, not recaro, and the rear diff isn’t an LSD, it’s a torque vectoring diff (except 2024 model)

Do some research mate, this is a very basic spec car not “full spec apart from bucket seats”, just from what I can see in the video it doesn’t have electric/heated seats therefore no heated steering wheel and tints… It also doesn’t have Harmon Kardon audio and coloured stitching.

This is either an old model or down specced for this market. Later QVs have touch screens as well as the center console knob. Personally, I think touch screens are dangerous, but the market wants what the market wants, or some reviewer will complain the car lacks something we don't need. U.S. spec cars get power seats for driver and passenger, and heated seats front & rear.

I can speak from current ownership that reliability isn’t great as you expect with an Alfa, the parts network is atrocious main dealer for anything other than service items/oil filter etc, 60k in and having to change the steering rack at £3000+ fitting, in all amazing car handling is amazing, but pays the price ultimately on being an Alfa and being a nightmare to fix when things go wrong and trust me they will

Really great review Lee. Its an interesting one as i'd choose it over the M-Car BMW's and Audi's right now. Just on exclusivity and just a much prettier thing to look at. I wonder if the roads have a lot to do with it?? I've seen other reviews on the emphasis as a daily driver and they've got rid of them quickly - i think for the same reasons as you put. Just not exciting and didn't ignite that "zing". BUT the reviews i've seen of people driving it on more B-Roads through mountains and in Europe, they've loved them. Would that maybe make much difference? LIke would you take it on a roadtrip to Stelvio on a True Rally? Maybe it would shine because you don't want it to spin out on you there but you can as you seem to show, use all its power effectively. Where as you can't in a c63s or M3 Comp on roads like that cus you would have some brown trouser moments?? Tough one man. Cus it just looks so f**king lovely and makes you want one when you look at the gomping BMW's that are coming out. I'll stick with my M3 and R26 for now, maybe this isn't the "one car that does it all".

He's giving his review/opinion of the car. It's not misguided, its his opinion. The lack of information around options and model years. Does not bother me (and likely many others) in the slightest. He's not an automotive journalist and as such i'm not expecting a professional review of the car. I adjusted my expectations based on those facts. I don't go to my child's school art exhibit and judge their paintings on the same qualities and levels as i would judge a Van Gogh. I adjust my expectations. So yes, on that basis, I liked hearing what he thought about jumping in and just driving it. I've seen far poorer reviews and far more impractical ones, by so-called professionals. It amounts to nothing at the end of the day. Its about how it feels to jump in and drive it. So whilst i appreciate every person is entitled to their opinion. Calling anyone a simpleton for simply stating they like a "review" seems to speak more about your character than it does about anything else. Jump into your car and make a review video for us. Better still. Get yourself an Alfa and give us your opinion/review. I'll happily watch it to compare?

I was in love with my Giulia and Alfa Romeo as a brand, however, I will never again buy/recommend another Alfa Romeo in my life. I had the brake by wire system fail on me and it caused me to crash and total the car. They sent someone from Bosch to diagnose the vehicle and in the charts it clearly showed that something malfunctioned (brakes were slammed 2 seconds before the impact at 40 MPH and it took more than 1.5 seconds for the speed to start going down.) Stellantis told me that they were not going to take responsibility for it and that I needed to have my insurance pay for the vehicle. Absolute garbage. I will never recommend this car brand to anyone again! Buy an AUDI, BMW or Mercedes instead!!
