BRUTE Force-Procharged F1A Terminator Cobra Review by BAMA Performance

For this video, my buddies over at AmericanMuscle.com and BAMA performance were kind enough to let me drive one of their badass project cars-the Procharged Terminator. Being an Unorthodox method of forced induction for this beast was a really interesting experience and was a completely different car from the last Terminator I reviewed back in Myrtle Beach. Sanic Dont know the compatibility of two different types of superchargers on the same application. Ive seen compound boosted Cobras with a turbo kit feeding the stock blower but since it makes 733 with only the F1, Im not sure what it would accomplish other then making it harder to get out of the hole without breaking a half shaft or spinning. Interesting idea. Perhaps more viable with a P1 on a street setup but again dont know about sharing the serp belt system.

I don't think people really know the work you put into editing your videos. For example, when you make a reference about a past car you've seen or took a shot of, you actually go and find that specific file, and then you find that exact moment. Great work as always, David. So much flack I get for preferring V8s over 4-banging Civics. Take notes you kids, this car is on STOCK bottom end, STOCK internals, STOCK transmission and STOCK rear end. So full stock drivetrain. 733rwhp and still capable of 1,000rwhp. Civics can do that with their 4cyls right LMAO? Not a chance in Hell so stop with the lying bullshit. Civics have to have full motor swaps, transmissions swaps, etc to even make a fraction of what this car does with OEM parts. I'll entertain logical discussion but, any stupid ricer troll comments will be deleted :)

Also when you are building a track car, it is very much important on how strong the stock materials are. Why do you think boosted engines are always built with forged parts? Terminator - Forged bottom end. 2JZGTE - Forged bottom end. Trinity - Forged bottom end. LS9 - Forged bottom end. Hellcat - Forged bottom end. Do you really think you can have a reliable boosted engine without using strong pistons, rods and crank?

Trevor GT Go for a ride in a Roush tvs or VMP tvs coyote and you'll change your mind. With the tvs you have monster torque right off of idle and it makes the car feel like it has a big block. I prefer the instant power curve over a linear power curve that the paxton sc provides.

There is more to a car than just horsepower. Already the tires are enough to make it unusable as a daily driver. And this cars setup is obviously centered around Drag-Strip-Racing. You wouldn't be complaining about an F1 car not being a daily either, would you?

ehhhhhh yes?! That's what I just said...there is no point making that comparison because that car is simply not designed for being driven on the street. You certainly can chill with that one at 10 mph with the AC on...but you don't need a jet fighter turbine in the engine compartment for that...

Sanic You don't understand what it means to build a car for the track. Do you really think those huge racing slicks will work in a rain storm? No. They are for racing only. The car is purpose built. You can build a Termi that has over 1000 horsepower that can also daily drive. There's plenty of them out there. But this isn't one of those.

Because I can't reply to his comment thread I'll post here.. lol It's so dumb to say that this car.. I have no idea how much it actually costs with the mods, but no way it's more than $50,000 with over 700 rwh can even be compared to the luxuries in a $100,000+ car with 700+ rwh. Price for price, this car is fucking outstanding. If it had all the "streetable" components that other similar hp cars have (interior, handling packages, driver assists, ridiculously complicated internal computer, drivetrain) it would cost atleast twice as much. Ooooh I can buy a fuckin' GTR for $100,000 and 500rwh, mod the shit out of it for a total of $130,000 and 1000 rwh and all the modern comforts of driving. Or I can buy a terminator cobra for under $20,000 500rwh, mod the shit out of it for $50,000 and 1000 rwh and really push the shit out of it as a specialized track car.

I have a 97 cobra which also has a 32 valve motor. I have a Paxton NOVI 2000 with a Vortech Mondo bypass valve that I dump right into the atmosphere like a BOV and it sounds just like that. I have headers, 40 series Flowmasters, no cats and dumps and still the whoosh is often overpowering over the sound of the rest of the car.

The car drives fine, it's just the bushings are replaced with steel and urethane bushings and things such as that. Things that make the car more stable under hard acceleration. I drove it around for two hours just fine. But I was saying that it would not be the fast car to take on a long street driven trip. It's a play thing.

I have a 1999 svt cobra with 59,000 miles on it with the procharger set up with 3.5 intercooler with Dual Welbro 400 lph fuel pumps and a mile long list of add-ons. My car handle's the same way i love it THE ONLY WAY TO PUT IT IS JUST BRUTE RAW POWER. Mine's also built for the track but i drive it about 4 time's a week. It is doing 748@rwhp with 8 psi but have turned it down to 5 psi which is still ridiculous in town it's also ridiculously loud with the BBK CERAMIC LONGTUBE HEADERS ON IT. I slip a little aviation fuel or Non-Ethanol 93 in it and have some fun here in florida..I plan on building it to around 1100 hp adventually.. I'm kind of new to the super charger tweeking but will learn as we go..
