Imma get a lot of hate for this but I am not one to really care. So, I'll say it. Women bond and are far more social than men. During a competition, for the most part, women will encourage each other and will become closer for it. Men, reverse it, generally. It's a great asset that women have and are killing it right now in the technical workplace because of it.

@Tristan Toews It's mostly your traps and shoulders for an upright row. A clean looks like a deadlift in the begin then an upright row then a flip which makes me wanna do a shoulder press lol. Sorry I mostly do bodybuilding movements we go for longer contractions of the muscle on every lift so our movements are slower. I guess the clean needs fluidity in the movement.
@wilsonyang45055 жыл бұрын
@Tristan Toews Totally agree it's just that for bodybuilders explosive power is fun, but secondary, it's mostly time under tension and stress to create the micro tears for muscle growth. We all tune our workouts for our goal which are different.We do both shrugs and uprights cause it hits different angles of your traps and to shape it more evenly. Cheers mate!
@wilsonyang45055 жыл бұрын
@Tristan Toews Yeah! Hope you keep grinding and keep doing what you doing. Even when you train for strength you end up looking good either way and even when you train for looks you get strong. It's just about what you prioritise and the other thing becomes secondary. :)

Watching Brooke lift 100% explains why she got injured, trash power clean form, trash deadlift form. Surprised she didnt snap her back and ACL
@MarxAA5 жыл бұрын
She is lifting Max Effort... ANYBODYS form goes to shit when you’re trying to 1RM... Not to mention she states several times she hasn’t been training these lifts or this heavy at all prior to this... lol Easy to trash other people from a behind a keyboard. Fact is, she out-lifted a freaking power lifter and out cleaned everybody else but a medaling Oly Lifter... she can probably out do you an any comp.. lol

@AJHart-eg1ys5 жыл бұрын
@@danie1220-s8r To clarify, a cheat form often isn't technically cheating. Like how in bench press those huge back arches are cheat form even though they're allowed. But there's no freakin' way she'd be allowed to pull that sumo BS in a strict lifting competition. They're waffling on the rules in this operation - and rightfully so - in hopes of keeping things competitive. You kind of have to when combining people from different disciplines.

@BruteStrength5 жыл бұрын
Great question, The girls bodyweight was accounted for in the cleans as well, we used the Sinclair Formula! I don't think Adrian talked about it because it all still played out the same even with sinclair-- the deadlift we made sure to mention just so there was no confusion on why. We had it show on the event graphic, but easy to miss for sure.

Why didn't they say that before the competition? Is it because your powerlifter wouldn't have won her speciality lift? And they didn't show Brooke last couple weights. Kinda dumb imo
