This was a pretty good review. Your sketch was really nice, far better than the reference. I have the square Brutfuners, which I like. These round barreled Brutfuner’s seem pretty nice for their inexpensive price, even though the wood is less than desirable.

Why does yours have color name in the set 72 they do not have color name

I think, only the brand name and color number were included in the 72 set, sorry but I don't know the reason, but for me, I think its because this set has a lot of pencil and most of the pencils were almost identical that's why they put the color name to distinguish one pencil from another.

Don't buy the round barrel, buy the square....120 pencils around £25 and 100% better than the round barrel pencils. Best sharpener for them is the Dahl 133.

Yeah that's true, I think for me, that's the reason why they included the color name in this set, since the pencils were almost identical to each other giving us a hard time finding the right pencil to use.

what paper do u recommend for this brutfuner?

I use the Brutfuners whenever I have a colouring book with Amazon paper and they are great on that paper while others like Prisma aren't. I use them for grayscale for the most part and they work well in Christine Karron and Alena Lazareva's grayscale books from Amazon. I have been using then in the line art book 50 Farm Miniatures by Kameliya Angelcova because that book is also on Amazon paper. In line art books with good paper like Maria Trolle, Hannah Karlzon, Kerby Rosannes, I mainly use Prisma pencils. I have the 120 Brutfuner square and I just started using the Macaron set of 50 pencils and I absolutely love them. I use them on all paper. The Macarons blend so well and lay down beautifully on Amazon paper and books with smooth paper. i dislike toothy paper and when I'm not using a book, I copy onto smooth Neenah cardstock and the Brutfuners work very well on that paper. I have also used them on Strathmore tan tone paper and both sets worked well, but that paper is a bit toothy for my liking. I dislike Velum paper and I think that most pencil brands don't work well on Velum because of the tooth.
