I'm Italian Australian, and my father was the target of alot of genuine anti-Italian racism when he was growing up in the 60s and 70s. I double checked this with him, and not only is "bruz" or any wog-impression certifiably not racist, but according to dear old dad, it's not really possible to be racist against Italians in this day and age, we're not an "out" group anymore.
