I was at this concert in Slane and this is my all time favourite song. I always listen to it when I come home from having a few pints with my mates. Sadly we are getting fewer as the years pass. I was born in the 50s and have grown very nostalgic as time goes on. I suspect this is quite normal. One one thing about this is your favourite songs are like fine wine......they just keep getting better and better. I will never tire of listening to this. I'm very sorry for your loss but you will always have the memory of this song which no doubt defines who you are. Sadly, my days here are numbered due to my health, but I embrace the future and have no regrets whatsoever. I have a very special family whom I love and of very proud . I know they feel the same. Music has been such a huge part of my life. So many masterpieces over the years, but for my favourite...... Thank you Bryan Adam's, for Heaven. Hopefully that's where I'm heading. No regrets.

This song was written about my life. I met the most beautiful and amazing woman 40 years ago at the lowest point of my life. I was broken. She introduced me to Jesus. That was a life changer. God has blessed us abundantly as He made her my wife!!!!!! We are now closer and deeper in love than ever. So do I, back in collge days I have a beautiful roommate and I truly fall in love on her, unfortunately she passed away too early in a boat mishap and was drowned. This is her favorite song and everytime i heard this i always remember her with tears falling down from my eyes,mire than 40 years past and still I feel the same for her. REST IN PEACE my Emily!!!
