“Have you ever really loved a woman” this young man has been around since the 80s. He’s from Canada and his voice is more beautiful now because it’s mature than it was then. I know that must be hard to believe but it’s true.

Written by Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance. Originally released in 1983 in a soundtrack to a movie. Released again, in 1984, on the album Reckless. 2 years before this was released, Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance wrote Stay for fellow Canadian band Prism. That song led to Heaven. Same key! This song and the original version of Obsession were the highlights of the B movie A Night in Heaven. True story. Mickey Curry, who left Hall and Oates to join BA, could not make the recording session due to a prior contract requiring him to play for another musician. Steve Smith , then of Journey, came into play. Compare this to the song Faithfully, which Journey played. Very similar! And BA was the opening act for Journey that year! Engineer Bob Clearmountain worked with BA in 1983 for the album Cuts Like a Knife and with the late David Bowie, RIP, for Let's Dance. Rob Sabino played keyboards for him. RS and BC worked on this song and. Now RS is a lecturer in music at UC Davis. In an interview, BA wanted Nile Rodgers, who co produced Let's Dance, to produce Reckless. Listen to the Apple podcast for details. There are really 2 eras for Bryan Adams: up to 1991 and 1991 onward. Mutt Lange changed everything in 1991 for BA. Strongly suggested songs : 1 Bryan Adams performs Everything I Do I Do It for You 2 Journey performs Faithfully. 3 Prism performs Stay.

A Canadian treasure. We saw him in concert late last year, and he was amazing. Sang the last hour of his show without his band, just him and his guitar, just so happy to perform for us. So many great songs to choose from. Summer of '69 and It's Only Love (duet with Tina Turner) are 2 of my faves. Keep going!

Wow! Great reaction! Bryan Adam's has a huge discography. He has so many great songs to choose from! He is very well known for his tender love songs. He has also written many movie & film songs. Some good ones to check out are: "Everything I do I do it for you" "Summer of 69" "Please forgive me" "Run to you" "Somebody" & "Here I am" are some of his great solo's but there are many great duets he has as well such as "All for one" with Sting & Rod Stewart is a must. "It's only love" with Tina Turner & "When your gone" with Melanie C. If you like opera there is also a duet with Bryan & Luciano Pavarotti singing "O Sol Mio" in Italian which is great as well. You can't go wrong with any of his songs. Happy listening! ❤❤

My favorite singer and my favorite song. This was my homecoming, prom and wedding song. Such a spectacular singer, song writer, and musician. He has a whole catalog of hits and the beauty of Bryan is his voice sounds just as great today as it did then and of all the concerts I have seen, he sounds the most pure live. He will come and play Straight from the Heart and other songs with just him and his guitar and not hide behind a band. Thank you for the wonderful cover, I truly enjoyed that.

If you want to know where to start, I would recommend "Cuts Like a Knife" and "Summer of '69" since they are two of his biggest hits. He has many others, but those 2 stand the test of time and are really some of his best work. Lots of good songs, but I think those best represent his style of rock.
