He wrote this with Gene Simmons over 40 years ago and it was recorded by Kiss in 1983. I prefer the original version; much heavier.

You really couldn't be much more wrong about that! In 1982/3 he and Gene Simmons remade/rewrote a song off of a 1979 Bachman Turner Overdrive album that was credited to Jim Vallance. It was on Kiss' Creatures of the Night album back then.

I got to know Bryan's music in the early eightys. I really loved that kind of rock music. In the ninetys he lost it. The music was way too soft and you could say pop music. He changed for the good when corona showed up. I have loved his performances eversince. This one is great. Of course I bought the "creatures of the night" album back in 82. Now I know why I haved loved it that much. 😂

What about the original version by BTO?? Brian definitely reworked it. Wait...did He write originally for BTO??? their version came out in 1979. Hmmm not sure. Maybe I should have checked before opening my mouth. Hahaha

@@stevenmccarthy534 actually, I didn't even know about that. So thank you for mentioning it. The original BTO version sounds like a completely different song, except for the chorus. The Kiss version, that has Bryan Adams and Gene Simmons as co-writers, in my opinion, is much better. Although, my opinion may change the more I listen to the original, who knows? Again, thanks for bringing it to my attention. I appreciate it.
