18:08 i think Mike gets held back just like every other head coach in Dallas. Bryan just gave you a clue when he said Stephen Jones answered the question about doubling the Giants Lawrence. Why isn't Mike and the oline coach answering that question? The Joneses have way too much input into what the game plan will be. And numerous players have left Dallas and told us the exact same. Voch has even said plenty of times, we'll see something great from the Cowboys 1 week and then never see it again!!

The win was unimpressive and almost feels like a loss, however something a lot of casuals don’t realize and wont mention is this was a short week game, short week games tend to never be pretty like ever. Imo we are starting to see Dak blossom into the type of QB that will be able to overcome all kinds of adversity and poor play and still will the team to gritty ugly wins, but if they stack it really doesn’t matter how they look as long as they can stack.
@dredre373livedirect9Ай бұрын
The whining is weak and typical.
@cowboys4life924Ай бұрын
Sure it was a short week, but we know this team cannot bang with teams that bring physicality so for me, I expect to continue the trend of beating up on lesser teams and flop against playoff caliber teams.

@@dredre373livedirect9 where do you see “whining”? Thats actually atypical of people like you, someone makes a point but you’d rather sit in the bottom of the septic tank full of shit rather than being honest that despite a lackluster night there were still some positives to takeaway. You do you by all means, but personally I am nit the type of Cowboys fan like the younger ones that are pessimistic and negative.
@k29king1Ай бұрын
@@cowboys4life924 While there is certainly grounds for your opinion, in reality we dont know. Sure we can go with trends, we can go with the always negative pessimism, or maybe we can see that team will face a lot of adversity but can probably still finish with 10 or 11 wins with at least one or two over better teams. Most the offense did not play together in the preseason and had zero chemistry and in game practice together. We have seen slow starts from the Cowboys before, we have seen them lose a few and look like the worst team in the league before ripping off 4 or 5 games in a row. Nobody knows.

Mike is calling terrible plays. These 5 yard passes are absolutely ridiculous. Dak has shown he can swing that ball. With CeeDee being constantly doubled, we don’t have any receivers that can consistently get open. Ferguson is our best #2 option and we go absolutely no where at this rate.
@olympusnfitnessАй бұрын
Man after the first few drives of that game got me thinking. We have sooo many young players playing. Our core is still full of great star players, but the young guys playing everywhere is exposing our coaching quite a bit. We’re Use to having more veteran depth. But I still have faith these young guys are going to turn it around and we finish season in playoffs. But man isn’t this a bit eye opening ?
@lennystorm2388Ай бұрын
Four games and these were as expected
@JoeyV1990Ай бұрын
The other thing that needs to be factored in with this team and their draft picks. Since McCarthy has been here, this team has consistently been in the top 10 teams to finish their seasons. lowering their draft picks to late 1st round and beyond. We haven’t finished bad to get a top 10-15 draft pick. Therefore the quality of players available for us and essentially 2nd round picks that are either good or busts. We’ve had a decade of being mid with Jason garret, and getting higher quality picks and giving us fans hope because they were good enough to give us hope. The last few seasons and finishing 12-5 gives us late 1st round picks that have been more busts than boom. Maybe they need this year to be “mid” to get themselves in the race for a top 15 pick that can come in and contribute in a meaningful way and not just be roster spot place holders
@mikewentworth9819Ай бұрын
Here’s a question to make your mind wonder…….Voch/Bryan fan asks this…..what do you think this team would be like if Jerry Jones was JUST the owner and not the GM…AND…..Mike McCarthy was JUST the Head Coach and not the play caller? Love the show.

I don't think Zeke is better than Leapke and Cooks isn't getting open give me Dez 2 and just run it we're a 9-8 or 8-9 team this year. Again get Flournoy in the damn game

@bryan broaddus who is the best offensive lineman you have ever seen as a Cowboy since you have been with the organization?
@Michael.S.Ryan.Ай бұрын
On your guys Tolbert convo, Flournoy is the second best WR on this team. Unfortunate seniority isn’t letting him get on the field. Big, Strong, Physical, Shifty, Great Route Running, Hands, Finishing and is Coached by the Hall of Famer Chris Carter. Give this man a shot, atleast over Brooks, but I think he’s better tha Tolbert and Prob Cooks now too. Oh yea and hes a better blocker than all of them too.
@mikeverost6244Ай бұрын
I know I like him also. Tolbert will be at his best in 2 more years I feel. I like dowdle. Why don't they try to run lueptke as a back, not fb. He used to be a running back in college right? Idk duece wants to be out there too. I only see 2 plays from him. Always bad plays, why not throw screens more. It worked yesterday for dowdle. Flournoy needs to be out there. He's better then our number 4, and close enough to tolbert, and I like tolbert , they need to try something else. Why don't we look like other teams. You can just tell that we won't beat all the studs, but now this years schedule, there are up and coming teams that look really good with a young head coach. There fun.. Washington looked really good last week. There having fun. Good running back, good d line. Im looking at them now like having a shot in nfc east. We need to go a different route. It sucks, but we look old, and boring. We need to draft a stud running back next year, like we did with zeke. We missed superbowls wit him them early years. Still love my cowboys but really think we can have a really bad year, but im hoping that dak and ceedee, fergi, tolbert, and flournoy, just fall into place perfect and just score more then the other teams!! Dak did it last year actually. We are just banged up right now. I want to prove some ppl wrong, but I feel we need change for this football team
@Michael.S.Ryan.Ай бұрын
@@mikeverost6244 I’m certified in movement by the guys who trained Jamar Chase since 8th Grade and currently Train George Kittle and some other top NFL players. Tolbert is not an elite mover, you can see it by his route running and agility. Flournoy is, you can see it by his route running and agility, he also wins the mental battles, if you watched camp 1on1’s and him in preason(vs starting corners in raiders especially) he just wins, great hands, great build and 4.4 speed. Flournoy is better than all the other guys we have given the shot and chance to develop, other than Ceedee who is also an elite mover. Tolbert has also been in the league for 3 years. As far as our running game, as the blocking is getting better our RB’s are performing better. Rico is very good and strong and Explosive, and Zeke is a good big strength solid back with great vision, he just lacks the big play explosiveness that he used to have and that Rico actually has. Duece given a chance to get consistent consecutive carries is also very dangerous (he’s an elite move like Barry Sanders was) but from watching the film it has been the run scheme and blocking within that scheme that has been the issue, not the RB’s. There has t been many places to go cuz the scheme and blocking, where any RB wouldn’t be getting yards, Also on some plays where the RB might have a cutback lane that they miss I blame it on them not being allowed to be in the game and get a feel for it and the competition of 3 rbs on their back where if they make a mistake and take the wrong cutback lane they will instantly be pulled. So they go for the play design even when it’s not there how the coach wants it rather then cutting back where it’s not designed even though it’s wide open because the risk of failing might piss the coaches off and get them pulled. The simple solution to this is give RB’s a set amount of tries regardless consecutively until they get tired before they are pulled. On Lupteke being an RB I’m not even against that if we had too, but we have 3 other guys that are specialized and better at that position and don’t need it, he fits in great as a fullback and an H where they are using him more in the passgame cuz of his talent and skill. We already don’t really have enough reps to go around with the 3 guys that are more talented and explosive than him to go around in the run game. 4 if you count Dalvin Cook on our practice squad. But yea I think we have a solid team if we know how to use our players right, and thank god for Dak being a solid smart player because this scheme is not really helping him maximize players. Btw I’m great with strategy as I’ve been top ranked in the in 3 strategy video games including Madden and all star football player(chasing football dreams from an untraditional way) and my first cousin is a 7 time world Champion in Jiu Jitsu who hasn’t lost a match in over 6 years, his brother my other first cousin is top 25 in the world too. Putting LBs in conflict, etc. I like B Cooks, but if there gonna do this all year, cut him and let him play elsewhere and give the young guys the reps. Why sign D Cook if he's gonna sit?
