I don't really know how football practices work, but I would think you have to simulate what the other team does on offense/defense, and it's clear that we can't simulate the power run offenses we have faced so far (and will continue to).

@@SayManeAyyMane I don’t know, not gonna pretend too but the comeback attempt was encouraging. It showed fight in them we did not see in the GB or NO games. Like a switch was flipped. And granted had CeeDee not fumbled in the Redzone and not drop passes that were in his hands the game would have been a lot closer than it was. The offense was moving the ball against Baltimores very good defense all while the run game was trash. Just key drops and untimely penalties hurt these drives. Believe it or not the Ravens actually had more flags than the Cowboys did. While I don’t see the penalty issue being fixed anytime soon (it has been a problem in the McCarthy era so far), the drops will stop because these guys didn’t get preseason time together, and this is affecting teams league wide. Like the 49er’s of all teams is also 1-2, its just week 3. People need to chill. Like Dak said jump if you wanna jump, please. But wigging out in week 3 is a but ridiculous. Wasn’t it 2021 when the cowboys also started 1-2 but then won 7 straight? People were jumping ship then too. Its too early to panic.

The reality is despite the 3 12 win seasons this team has shown signs of all the glaring problems we are seeing the last 2 weeks for 3 years. It was clear each of the last 3 years that the Cowboys were not a legit playoff team. This is a team that has struggled to stop the run, struggled to run the ball, gave up way too many big plays, too many penalties/mental mistakes, declining O-line play, horrific game/clock management, poor preparation for big games, terrible in game adjustments, way too small on defense. Now that the talent level has dropped all those flaws are becoming more and more obvious. With the Dak/Lamb contracts and with Micah due to get 35+mil/yr next year they have 3 guys making about 50% of the salary cap so I don't see how this roster gets much better for the next 3-4 years?? Mind you if they play this shitty for the rest of the year they may have a top 5 draft position!
