Memories of being 16 in 1981 and hearing Jealous Guy on the radio every half hour. I remember being up a ladder painting drainpipes when the radio announced that Prince Charles was engaged to Lady Diana Spencer.

Bryan's Jealous Guy, especially with the video is spine tingling for those who appreciate Bryan's huge talents & those of Lennon, & a good song. Bryan's version is a brilliant progression from John's initial sketch.

@imhosaibabaischeatin - I remember reading that in the NME back in the 80s but never thought I'd ever see it, then 25 years later I discovered it had been on European TV and someone had a copy of the concert for sale - I snapped it up and uploaded that performance to my page a year or so ago - so yes, I guess that is the actual 1st performance ever of Jealous Guy.

Their version of jealous guy was the best, I didn't like John Lennon's....but when I heard this one I just fell in love with it and Bryan Ferry ❤😊

This is interesting, I was never really sure if the live performance from the 20.12.1980 was the world premiere of Roxy Musics cover version of Jealous Guy. But here BF seems to say exactly that if I'm getting it right?
