Sir Bryan Stevenson you have your peeps down here in Nairobi 🇰🇪 It would be a real righteous honour to entertain such a great Spirit in my humble abode. Show you the East Side of your Continent. Gordon Parks Jr’s memory is well inhabited in the remnants of his artistry here and ofcourse of Renaissance Man Sr. Plus I have an interesting case for your international consideration. Epoch like work/service/cause. Blessed by ABBA May you be and May Dad and Son both rest well.

This is outstanding and should be shared in elementary schools, high schools,Universities and companies. It should be shown along with the images he described because we are a highly visual people and recognizing how images of American life influence us all.

Am going to the Houston Museum of Fine Arts this weekend to see the Gordon Parks exhibit. Also, just received the new book of his photography. And I just happened on this interview. Thank you so much for the work that you are doing. You are amazing. Patsy

Pros: It was a beautifully directed documentary. A strong historical primary source basis with modern events. Like a TedEd video mixed with a Ken Burns Documentary. Cons: It was disturbing how this documentary was so geared toward attacking Lincoln's legacy for not being enough of an abolitionist for BLM sensibility. It was full of anti-white sentiment and Democrat rhetoric.
