No i didnt have to drill in since i installed the backsplash after i just went around . A nice diamond hile bit should do the trick.i usually put painters tape to cover the are so i dnt scratch the surface . Thanks for watching! This is my favorite thing that we added in our kitchen

I just got mine the exact same model. Have the wall ripped apart and ready to go, but the rear connector is missing, plus I ordered nickel and it came with a chrome plate… 😡

What’s the height of yours? I just raised ALL of my cabinets to the ceiling and adding custom stainless steel shelving under the cabinets all the way around. I didn’t raise the microwave cabinet, and not sure if I’ll have room or not. Believe the amazon model I’ll need an extra 1.5” but it’ll then screw up my open face cabinet I built up top. 🤷‍♂️

From what i understand they are approved for enclosed use? But i maybe wrong. Either way i have access from behind. This wall backs into my laundry room wall which is currently open . I am planning on leaving an access panel where all the laundry plumbing is .

@@BryanBuilt as soon as I sent that message I realized I’m an idiot. I saw that it was level with the bottom of your cabinets in that felt too low. I’m getting ready to install one and I measured my tallest pot and the alignment brings it almost even with the bottom of my cabinets which is exactly where yours is. So unlike most people on the Internet I have no problem admitting I was wrong and my comment was stupid. Thanks for the awesome video.

😂 no worries! I had a hard time figuring out the height and i found alot of different things online but finally i think anywhere from 16 to 24 inches is the sweet spot depending on your personal needs . Again thanks for watching I appreciate it
