I see nothing wrong with the big Syracuse guy defending his teammate. I see nothing wrong with the Bryant guy slapping the smaller Syracuse guy. It was all started by the small Syracuse guy thinking he could slap the dude and walk away like nobody would retaliate. He put himself and his big fella in a bad situation. There's a difference between retaliation and self defense. If he slaps you and continues to stand there trying to hit you, THEN it's self defense. But if he slaps you and walks away, it is retaliation if you hit back. Just let the ref deal with it. Now if the Ref had NOT done something about it, then there would be a valid complaint.

This was just after #3, #25, and another player got tangled. #25 either pushed off #3 to save himself from falling on him as #3 was getting out or, more likely, pushed #3 off his teammate. Then, #3 decided to openly slap him. #5, in the back, is actually one of several teammates that dove in bewteen 25 and a guy almost twice his height that was about to murder him after seeing him slap his teammate#3.

the syracuse guy did the same thing essentially. slapped someone then turned his back. Actually the syracuse player got smacked and didnt do shit. at least #25 did something lol
