That squat depth is so low even the IPF can't redlight him lol.

Bryce will go down as one of the GOATs with Ed Coan and many others. Perfect form, very marketable guy, and so consistently dominant in competition.

those were literally ATG squats AND he self-unracks every bench AND STILL gets 1st place WTF?!!!!!!!!!!

His squat is more like a weightlifter close grip, narrow stance, high bar and ass to grass .
@theylivewesee16745 жыл бұрын
most people aren't built for low bar wide stance back squat but yet they still do it to chase bigger numbers and risking an injury down the line, maybe he went with safer and more comfortable stance with longevity in mind

Rondel's squat and total is higher than bryce's and rondel is a junior and this year was his first worlds. Had he competed in open he would have won by total. John I'm telling, next year for worlds, he's gonna destroy. I saw him in the gym I train at a couple days ago and man seeing him after breaking all those records was truly something.

I had the same thing in mind. whats even more impressive is that he didnt give his best at squat and bench press. Its very sad that i cant find videos of him on youtube. IMO He has the potential to be one of the strongest in the planet
@emp100k6 жыл бұрын
I agree, Rondle has incredible potential, assuming he stays a -105 and doesn't move up to -120 we will likely see him push that IPF total record over 900kg next year. Granted Krystof had a bad day here, he is capable of surpassing 900kg too, (he did so at Polish Nationals last year.)

Why do people stop doing conventional deadlift in competitions anymore? 😪 can someone explain to me pls?
@JohnmillerPowerlifting6 жыл бұрын
not everyone pulls sumo but ROM will play a big part in it. Sumo has its own risk to rewards but with sumo do don't need to move the bar as far so shorter distance in simple terms makes the lift easier. if you want to see a good conventional lifter check out my video on Bert Gibbs
@catsforlife4 жыл бұрын
Because it's a competition. The goal is to lift the most weights. Sumo has a shorter range of motion therefore you can pull more weight. More weight equals better chance of winning.
