I can't believe how many people are trying to discredit the guy because of his height, I'm sure growing up in a fairly tall country he got a lot of shit for this and idiots around the world want to join in? I'm sure this guy can lift more than 100% of people commenting so all the haters can hate all they want, he has my respect.

Freaky people are not smart this days to understand leverages. They rather go for a "manly" pull than a smart pull. It really is quite sad once you realise this same people ore the ones who wants the be at the shape of their life but refuse to study the importants of leverages.

People acting like they want to be short. This guy has discovered a benefit of his stature and everyone taller than he is on this video are discrediting him. You want his lifts but do you want his height with it? Unless you're 5 foot 3 or shorter I doubt it.

For everybody crying about his bodys leverages, does it bother you only tall and big guys like Eddie Hall can set deadlift records? Because thats also a feature depending on the bodys leverages and nobody seems quite concerned at all. Gotta state consistent arguments or shut the hell up

You're absolutely right. Shorter people have more disadvantages with their height than they have advantages like Bakkelund has
@dubstepforever997 жыл бұрын
don't shorter people have less testosterone? so its harder to get muscles?
@Raw_Feedings7 жыл бұрын
the fuck you hear that from? If anything, shorter people tend to build muscle more easy.. but it's more so because it's easier to put on weight that way
@martin10247 жыл бұрын
They don't build muscle easier smartass, it just looks like they're more muscular because there's not so much space for the muscle as for taller guys. Building muscle is a genetic thing of white muscle fibers and hyoertrophy training and has nothing to do with how tall you are. It's a common phenomenon that little guys appear to have more muscles...

Dusan Nedeljkovic i'll agree with you, weightlifting requires more time to get the form right and you have to deal with the weights put on the bar. But not everyone has time for weightlifting due to timing so powerlifting is our only option( doesnt mean i dont love powerlifting, just competed in two local meets, i still suck doe haha)

@moz8737 жыл бұрын
For the deadlift i think they should make the bar height not the same for each lifter, some higher some lower because this guy pretty much rack pulled the weight while some people deficit deadlift the weight
@XeroReflex7 жыл бұрын
Marko Savvas This comment makes absolutely no sense.
@moz8737 жыл бұрын
Yash what im trying to say is for short lifters its so much easier to deadlift because the bar path is so short it makes it unfair for the other lifters who are regular height because the short lifter(this guy) will always get the highest number in the deadlift so what im saying is maybe they should use deficit plates to make the bar path a little more for the short people to make it fair for everyone because this guy is pretty much rack pulling the weight instead of doing a deadlift
@dubstepforever997 жыл бұрын
but shorter people have less natural testosterone right? so it's harder to build muscle? i'm short and i got told i had low testosterone and i could take injections if i wanted to get taller when i was young, but i decided not to because i was okay with my height.
