Someone on tweeter stated, he’s another Tua, which is not even close. When he’s running in an open field, a linebacker or a lineman have no chance of tackling, but he doesn’t run unless he absolutely have to like the Texas game. Tua was throwing to 3 future Pro Bowlers. The current receivers “maybe” fringe NFL players. I am LSU fan but also pro SEC fan. I keep with all the SEC teams. Gibbs catch that ball, ball games over.

As a 20 year saints fan. Young reminds me so much of Drew Brees but with more mobility. His ball placement and accuracy are really good for a young QB and he does a good job of resetting his base when he moves in or out the pocket. And I think his best ability is his pocket presence he doesn’t panic when the pocket gets pushed into him and he also does a good job of stepping up when his tackles take a deep set. Bryce is just on another level. I hope Houston puts the right coaches and players around this kid

In college Drew was a duel threat QB. Against Minnesota one year he diced them up. He was kinda fast for a player who decided not to run anymore. He got in the pro’s after his shoulder injury, there was no more running for Drew. Interesting, his college QB coach/OC was on the Saints staff, I believe.

The ball doesn't really have a lot of velocity.. most powerful throw was the near safey. Everything else looked pretty average. But has nice touch and goes through his progressions pretty well. I just don't see how he's better than CJ.

Only game I have reviewed so far and have to say I expected more. I see a QB who golds ball to long, gets rattled under pressure, has an above avg arm but not a cannon. His accuracy is ok not great. He small. He is athletic which will help. I have to watch some other games but based off this one I wouldn't draft #1

One of the few who thought he'd be a bust and now that he more or less is you can still see it here. 3 (or 4) big failings. The first two Stroud has, which is why he was my QB1 and I called Young Manziel 2.0 1. Has 0 anticipation. This is a little hidden by his lightning fast throwing motion. He needs to see his receiver open. He can't throw his receivers open and needs a split second to confirm they're open before he throws it. 2. Loses the play in his head when things break down. He's just panic scrambling. He has no plan. This is masked at the college level because once the play has broken and he sees a guy wide open he can make a lightning quick pass 3. He might get away with his deficiencies with elite scrambling ability like Lamar or Kyler, but he doesn't have that. He looks quicker than he is because of his small body. He also has good not great arm strength. I.e. he doesn't have elite bail out tools. These are pretty much the same issues Manziel had, except Manziel was a superior scrambler.
