Totally agree. Even if Andy played this season and let Bryce call the plays to him, and in the meantime Bryce formulated what he would do in Andy's position, I think that would be of HUGE benefit to Bryce instead of desperately trying to throw the ball down the field while scrambling to salvage a broken play.

Exactly he's a national champion and a heisman trophy winner he's not used to losing he comes from a winning culture at Alabama. I think he was thrown into the starting position too early he needed at least 1 season on the bench learning from a vet QB. Now he gets a chance to do that watching Andy Dalton play and he will learn a ton now from Andy who has been in the similar position in the past.

@@DrownInLysergicyeah there’s no weapons there for him to utilize, you can be a great qb, but if there’s nobody on the same page, it isn’t happening. Look at who Aaron Rodger’s is, look who Wilson is, they’re just now starting to click, if all the receivers and tight ends wasn’t on the page with Rodger’s, the jets would still look like they did against the 49ers week one. I don't hear that damn ping pong table lol thank God. Keep your head up Bryce. I do believe that it is a confidence issue, but he is a good man otherwise. I also believe that he will be better the next time he plays in a game.

sports interviews are the worst. What do you expect them to say? And they usually all say the same thing. What a waste of everyone's time.

Bryce, keep the faith ,you will overcome this challenge in your life. Your right God is in control! When you reach the potential that people expected for you to reach, when you came to the NFL. Will come in Gods timing. You are a young man with a lot on your shoulders but the truth be told you’re not Superman they were looking for a Superman. Keep your faith and wait on God and I assure you the best is yet to come and it will come, doing this 2024 season. Hold your head up and remain humble show people what it means to be a true Man Of God. No matter what people say about you stand and trust God! You will recover ALL!

This is just a shame -- from many viewpoints. Other than the public embarrassment and humiliation he may be feeling after having been demoted (which is waaaaay different than having been cut or suspended indefinitely), this really isn't as big a deal as everyone is making it out to be. Ideally, Bryce should have sat as a rookie, to start -- so the fact that he's sitting now is appropriate. Apparently, his footwork is inconsistent, he can't read the field, and he can't properly process the game in real time -- why would anyone be allowed to play QB if they can't at least do that?? Severe remediation is needed here in order to give him a shot at ever playing in the NFL again as a starter. But if Dalton gets hurt, as QB2, Bryce could find himself as the starter again at any point in the season (until CAR signs a competent QB) -- so he just needs to stay ready and look to do what the coaching staff asks of him, in the interim. Easier said than done, tho, with all of the deficiencies in his game.
