I’m impressed by your apartment it has a yard and privacy and a huge area in the basement for storage. Talk about a blessing! Oh man I live in Federal Way Washington where I pay Approx $2000 a month for a tiny one bedroom apartment and that’s about half of what my new neighbors are now paying bc they just raised rent again. It was $875 when I moved in almost 8 years ago and now it’s $1700 plus I pay for 2 garage stalls water sewer garbage internet and power so it’s Approx $2000 a month and I would love to live in a home because at least that way it wouldn’t feel like a waste of money you know! But I’m still so grateful for my place it was renovated a year and a half ago and I do have a cool loft and vaulted ceilings on one half making it feel much nicer! It was really out dated before the renovation but I have to mention my place flooded during construction and ruined all of my furniture and I still haven’t done my insurance claim. Crossing my fingers I can still do it. I think there is a 2 year window. Anyway when the flood happened it was so severe that I was moved into the unit I’m in now and am so grateful bc it has the loft & the high ceilings unlike the old one. But I’m not gonna lie the old one was my home and I never decorated this one or did the same things I did I’m my first home here bc I was going through a lot during the move. My place flooded 2 days after my sister Michelle’s memorial so that was just bad timing for me so I’ve been trying to get back into the swing of life since my bestie/ big sis died so suddenly at such a young age. Anyway life is hard sometimes and moving can be great but it can also feel pretty stressful. Looking ahead to one day owning my own home too. Sending love to you and your sweet fam💕 Joy
