Wife and I were there. What a moment. She was in tears. Everybody around us was high fiving everybody else. It was euphoric. That was one of the funnest nights of my life. Philly is a different town when the sports teams are winning and it positively affects the entire region. Say what you want Philly fans, but in my opinion it’s easily the biggest home-field advantage in the entirety of professional sports in America. The crazy part is that at least when it comes to the Flyers/Sixers/Phillies home-field it only comes when the team is in the playoffs or winning. But with the Eagles it’s there whether they’re 14-3 and out or 3-14. It’s pretty remarkable when you think about it.

I’m not a Phillies fan, but wow that shot around the 1:00 mark is pretty iconic with all those great names walking down the stairs to the dugout. Schwarber, Turner, Harper, Castellanos, Bohm. Stotts and Marsh are up and coming and you can tell they recognize how special it is to be there.
