BS6 TATA TIAGO/ TIGOR PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS INSTALLATION & BI LED PROJECTOR FOG LIGHT INSTALLATION

This is DIY Video for Projector Bi-Led in Fog lamp & retro fitting Dual beam headlights in TATA TISGO XZ which comes with normal Halogen headlights. This kit can be installed in lower variant of Tigor/ Tiago. Do not install HID kit in high beam or filament based headlight as it will scatter light. Warm up time for this HID kit is very fast. Within 10 seconds HID Bulb glows to full intensity.

yes. Its top end headlight but be aware. Like BS4 where you can make circuit to work both high & low beam work once high beam on, you can`t do that in BS6 cars. It will be either high or low beam will work. Still trying to find workaround for this. Better, put projector LED fogs.

Headlights around 7k per unit (Check current cost from Tata SC), Relay kit around 1k from amazon. Bi-LED projectors around 8k.

Chrome strip can be removed by applying some heat with heatgun before than using plastic tool to pull it out

Thanks for tip. Will try next time. When removed chrome strip, we found tata Designed it in such a way that it can be fixed easily but removal is pretty hard & time consuming.

No. Those features are BCM operated so cannot do in Tigor/ Tiago.

The cost might be around 20k plus without installation charges. I just upgraded the bulb with night eye and the result is briliant but I would love the projector led.

Yes Projector BI-LED are best. But in case you don`t want to install aftermarket fog projector then get OSRAM LED bulbs.

I also did the headlight upgrade for Tiago 2021 from halogen to projector at an authorised service station. But still low and high beam don't turn on when high beam is engaged. Tried relay method but no luck, looks like tata has changed OEM circuit design. Service centre had suggested BOM update to resolve this issue. But I avoided it as they didn't garunteed that updating BOM might lead to change entire BOM. So, if you did figured out a way to achieve it, please share.

We have to do correct relay wiring in engine bay fuse box. No need to install any new BCM etc. SC people trying to bluff you quick money. Will post video for it soon.

Cornering light throw is 0,

You need to have special cornering lamp assembly like earlier mahindra XUV500 have in headlights. Now days, manufacturers simply program fog lamps to turn on as cornering lamp which is useless.

H11 sre usually rated at 55w. And these projector headlights which we use as fog light are usually under 45 watt. So relay not required. But thick wires of relay kits always better for efficient current and isolating circuit from oem circuits if engine bay has enough space to manage wires.

Stock H11 are 55 watt rated. The projector installed in fogs are BI-LED projectors. There is no need for relay kit in case you install LED projector fogs but installed here for safety plus in case owner want to shift to HID based Projector fogs, it will be plug n play. No need of relay kit addition later on. Stock tata fogs are 19 Watts which can take up to 25-29 Watts. Post that power rating, recommended to install relay kit else it will keep bursting fuse.

No wiring difference. Only you have to make relay circuit in engine bay so that both high & low beam works simultaneously like top end. Else it will turn off low beam once you turn on high beam & vice versa
