I'm trying to remove the centrifugal filter from a 1970 A-65 crank. The slotted plug took some work but now the tube inside does not want to come out. Anyone have any tricks on getting these out?

Well, I wouldn't use the torque wrench for normal spannering. Specialists are they?

Can you tell me a have a BSA A65 1967 There is a hole in one comrod what side drive or timeing side What happens if fitted to wrong side

The con rod with the hole goes on the left hand side (the drive side). If fitted the wrong side, the left hand bearing will be starved of oil
