I have 2 bsa ultra’s here in the UK,an old one single shot in .22 and the se in 177 I tend not to shoot past 30 yards and use RWS superdomes. We can get more powerful air rifles in the UK but we have to get a firearms cert from your local police HQ and there are a lot of restrictions on where you can use them.

Good shooting the BSA ultra is a pretty good rifle n competively priced. Trouble with 12ft pounds at that range is the wind especially with heavy pellets.

I'm looking for a good air pistol. .22 or .25. I need it for close quarters kills. I hog hunt and need one for point blank skull shots when my dogs catch a hog. We pull back legs put from under and remove dogs then kill hog. Is there one that has the knock down power. I use a air stunner, it pushes a bolt out about three half inches. It is old and expensive to replace. The bolt stun works on co2. They are about $600 to replace I hope you understand what I am asking.

Nothing in a pistol in .22 or .25. A Rex .35 will work great. But they are more than your stunner and need HPA source like a compressor or hand pump. Your typical .22 air pistol struggles to get 10 foot pounds of energy. The Rex .35 gets near 100 foot pounds. Totally different animal. Cheers AGW

@@back2backjack1 use Google to look up the explanation in the video he asked what mrad stood for he's always saying how a pellet drops in mills he should have had an idea of what M.R.A.D stands for it's a unit of measurement similar to M.O.A / minute of angle plenty of KZbin videos that explain it way better than I can or care to
