Thanks Dean, you've inspired me to have another go at filling the small pinhole in my A50 tank, the JB weld didn't stand up to modern fuel but solder should!

Nice job at the lead wiping it really did come up well. It's always a bit reassuring to have at tank at that stage so you can park it up without it deteriorating at all. I didn't realise it was as pitted as it was on the bottom until you painted it. It looks like a high fill primer would fix the minor blemishes so that won't be an issue. Fingers crossed for next week.....................

Hey Cain, what you might call 'Cow Trails '. They are unsurfaced roads but are still legal to ride (at the moment!).
