Let me know if you have any trouble sorting out. what to do? A few people in the comments have got theirs. Someone who is fairly local came round to have one fitted as the one sent was a bit tight from his stock. But the next out of the box fitted a treat. I do hope this stud is noticed as in the long run, it will save your gun. Wish I'd noticed this glaring fault before seeing Tilly's Gunstock Fatal Flawed video and wish that more people would see this video rather than one that rubbished the rest of what is a beautiful gun.

Beautiful solution, cant wait to buy one! how have you found the wear on the countersunk bit of wood, is it holding its shape? What torx are you doing that bolt upto is it squeezing tight?

Hi Jamie. There will be no wear on the bottom of the counterbore with the washer and domed nut holding it. You only need a nip on the spanner and with the body of the stud in the inside counterbore, the thin say 5mm thick in the base of the hole is well protected and can't as such be pulled through. Just got an email advising that the 10mm sockets of which I ordered ten are on their way. So things with this project are starting to come together. Just need the Jiffy bags and addresses to send to and everything will be rosy.

I'm fairly sure it has the same fault. But like if you checked your by removing the Torx screw and take remove the stock. Unless someone has fitted the stud to the thumb hole stock and can chime in. Best Dave
