Some really Top Notch Rifles there! ..You don't get Engineering on Air Rifles like this Anymore ( There's just something about the feel of the old ones compared to the Modern Stuff!)

Just purchased one of these and waiting for it to arrive. plan on fitting it with a malcolm 6x long Telescopic Sight. figured it would have a sort of sharps rifle feel. any thoughts? or am i ruining a classic?

I've got one of these (Top one), Was my great Grandfathers, says 1945 on the side, always thought it was the age of the gun but I think its the serial number, not sure what its worth ?!?!?!?

Could you help me out sir with the pros and cons of a Club Standard BSA in .177? Seen one at a local second hand shop for around £200. I held it and felt rather front heavy from what I'm used to. Cheerio.
@fieldsportcymru46369 ай бұрын
They are front heavy as many prefer that in a target rifle which is what these rifles were primarily designed for

Hello, I have a BSA Standard No. 2 rifle made in 1913 that is in pretty good condition except when I cock it, it doesn't engage. The serial number is 59813, so it is not the double-sear model. Is this an easy fix? Thanks in advance for any advice.
@fieldsportcymru4636 Жыл бұрын
Should be fairly simple as they are very basic but solid rifles

I've just been offered one of these, it's been in a workmates attic for years, unfortunately his son painted it all black back in the 1990s, It's an "L" prefix and a 4 digit serial number, would you or anyone else know it's value or date of manufacture ?

My grandad gave me an air rifle that looked similar to one of these but it came as a 2 gun set with a spug gun too, the spug gun looked similar to the air rifle but obviously loaded differently, it was crazy for a spud gun, I killed a pigeon with it
