Andy Irwin needs his race team to put his brain back in before the start.
@calibrazxr7505 жыл бұрын
No, he needs to hang it up, he is a nobody who has never done anything of any note. Give the bike to someone who knows how to ride. I know he isn't that old, but I cannot recall his name ever appearing in a good way.
@barrythomson87705 жыл бұрын
He left SR with nowhere to go, unacceptable.
@sk22835 жыл бұрын
Sorry but he plain hit Scott there - not a 50/50 !
@bremCZ5 жыл бұрын
Tough to say. When you're leaning off the left you can't see who's outside you until you stand it up to throw it right and by then it's too late.
@SuperLoffe5 жыл бұрын
@@bremCZ that is true. He probably didn't do it on purpose, but he had to know Scott was going to be there.
@bremCZ5 жыл бұрын
@@SuperLoffe He wouldn't know. You can assume that but if you always assume that the outside rider is there you'd never complete a pass down the inside.
@SuperLoffe5 жыл бұрын
@@bremCZ yes, if you have passed him on the brakes but you can clearly see they are side by side in the middle of the corner.

@@SuperLoffe We can see that. He can't.

No way Andy. Mackenzie taking out O'Halloran was "just racing", this was just incompetence.
@martinjefferies6665 жыл бұрын
I was tempted to say that both incidents were examples of what happens when confidence exceeds competence but Irwin and Mackenzie are both perfectly competent. Both of them pushed themselves into situations where, if it went wrong, someone else was going to pay and that sucks. Hugely disrespectful to both of their victims and neither appropriately penalised. Just my opinion
@KnOwN2Push5 жыл бұрын
Both incidents were unacceptable and woulda been penalized in the premier class. In Racing incidents... you don’t aim for the foot peg o’Halloran handled it like a champ and asked race direction not to penalize Mackenzie class act after leading 29 3/4 laps

The fact that Andrew thinks he didn't do anything wrong is concerning. How was that 50/50? Scott was holding his line and Andrew careened into the side of him
@bremCZ5 жыл бұрын
If you're leaning off the left you can't see who's outside you until you stand it up and by then it can be too late to avoid anything.
@cody99195 жыл бұрын
@@bremCZ He knew Scott was on the outside, he clearly said it in the interview. He ran so wide for that exit- he didn't TRY to avoid anything. He was perfectly fine with the contact with Scott.

@@cody9919 Of course he knew Scott was there after the fact...

@@bremCZ how are you right next to someone, enter a corner and immediately forget that you are fighting for a position? Of course he knew scott was going to be next to him the WHOLE time
@bremCZ5 жыл бұрын
@@cody9919 Because you expect the rider on the outside with the view of you not to place himself in your blind spot. Similar thing happened when Lorenzo, Dovi and Pedrosa got together in Jerez and rightly so nobody was penalised.

The racing authorities really don't care and that goes for most series. They don't want to get too involved because it can get very complicated on who exactly did what, where and when.' You hit him', ' Well he got off the throttle".......they would rather just call it a racing incident or subject you with a few point penalty. In my opinion, if you 'take someone out' you get black flagged, period. You cause them points via lost race place finished, you get fined at least the same amount of points the other guy lost....To end someone else's either podium position, or race entirely, and then fine them 2 or 3 points is so noncommittal. It doesn't matter that it's unintentional it was bad judgement, and it wasn't executed cleanly.
