I have a 19 JGC and have this kit which I plan to do this spring. The locktite is a good idea but I would also remove the rotor(it's held on by a o-ring). The insructions show removing the knuckle. Every video I have seen of this is different but yours is helpfull. Thanks.

@@BSBASSIN I just pulled the wheel off and what I thought was plating is aluminium. The 2019's have a alloy lower control arm and knuckle. No hammering! I have to figure out how to get the tierod and upper balljoint out without damage. Mine is a Hemi powered Limited with the tow package/Nivomat shocks, the ass end is exactly 2 inches higher than the front (measured @ wheelwells) and I want it leveled. Thanks again for the video and any advice is always greatly appreciated.

Just did this job... My suggestion is to not reuse the locking nuts that are used in the upper control arm and tie rod. My other suggestion is to make sure you have a ball joint separator because you can only beat on your car so much before you accidently break things. If I would have had these things available it would have been much easier.

Excellent video. I did this on my 2017 dodge durango gt. This kicked my butt. I had to take the sway bar off because it was interfering with the tie rods. Any ideas what I can do for a sway bar?

Awesome guide!! I hate to be a nuisance, but could you write up a list of all tools you'll need (maybe a "must-haves" list, and a "nice-to-haves" list?) to install this kit? Thanks!!!

would this be similar or pretty much the same as a '12 Durango?

Probably the jeep and dodge are the same platform. I have not done a Durango recent enough to remember though.

Thanks for the detailed video. I'm thinking of doing this on my 2020 JGC. I was told that I would have to do a front wheel alignment after the install, do you agree?

HIGHLY recommend an alignment with so many components removed.

Great work man. If you don’t mind me asking, what did you charge to do this? I’m considering DIY versus paying a shop. Or, any shot you’re in Chicago area? I’d gladly go to you

Not the bolts have to be cut because they are too long for the spacer that mounts on top of them.
