Nice video but this is half truth..if you have studied maths, there are other subjects like statistics, operation research etc. Which you study too. So, if you have option of going into Data science, data analytics and get job in IT too. So, want to say other than just research, teaching and government job you can apply for IT jobs too. Also, you can appear for Indian Statistical services if have studied statistics in graduation.

@@zeaagli I am into Datascience thats why can have this view. Actually, what I feel if you have specialisation in statistics, Mathematics it would be better to go into Data Science. I prefer kids doing Statistics/Mathematics Science/Computer Science in this order...Moreover Mathematcis also have elective/mandatory subjects like Operational Research and Statistics. So, go for Mathematic....you would do good in Data Science..All the best

@@psingh2047 gives preference to those colleges have maximum no of seats in your catagory and also follow this rule if not allotted any college in any round. I I am pursuing BSc maths from keshav mahavidyalay,Du don't continue in bsc maths totally theorem based degree nothing else not practical skill only graping theorem like class 9 PGT TGT etc theorem and also mention there are no more placement in maths . My personal advice to give first preference to your course then college and also watch reality of dehli University video on YT many students share their personal experience. DU is totally overhyped 🥲
