This is stupid. It is possible to have both computer and console connected to the same monitor. The game can be played on console, even if computer keyboard is clearly seen. In this situation they can block videos with games played legitimately on their consoles!

For someone like me who hasn't been into Cemu emulation since 2017, this guide was perfect, I had near enough forgotten everything about installing Cemu and BotW. I'm glad I stayed away for a while too, the game runs so much better now than in those days where I was struggling to keep even 40-45fps in the open world, it's now 60fps pretty much all the time, besides the cache building stutters. Thanks!

Maybe you can help me. My problem is I start a game and it doesn't get past three seconds of title screen before it closes the window by itself. It's running on a Dell 64-bit, 4 GB RAM, Windows 8 desktop. Nothing spectacular. I don't know about OpenGL.

Cheers for the guide dude, after being interested in a while I finally got cemu set up with BOTW. Pro tip to anyone else, double buffer is the perfect solution to vsync if you just set the frame rate to 72 and get a bit over 60. The 60fps cap actually causes the game to fall under 60fps which causes the screen tearing, double buffer also avoids the jitteriness of the camera moving associated with triple buffer mode

Just so everyone knows: Adding a paging the fie (virtual memory) as he showed towards the end of the video is completely unnecessary and just waste drive space if you have at least 16 of RAM. So if you are a laptop user and/or have low drive space you don't need to worry about that unless you see you are consistently hitting 90% RAM usage. Regardless, wonderful video imo and you should follow everything he said, as well as turning on "Game mode" in the Windows settings. Thanks for the video!

@@mooonlight.9334 The only good one is "survival of the wild", and I prefer the warmer version of it. Every other preset either crushes the blacks, blows out the colors or drastically changes the look of the game. Really shouldn't be recommended in a setup guide since ReShade presets are 99% subjective (or at least tell the user to experiment with which one they like).

I’ve been trying to find the right video for way too long, I recently got a new computer and I had no idea how to optimize this game again and I couldn’t find this video for so long, amazing content greatly appreciated. Also as a sidenote to anybody reading this, your emulated ram on your disk space will get lowered if you use up more disc space than the emulated ram. Probably not a problem most people would run into but I’ve had it happen before

I downloaded Twilight Princess, there was Cemu 1.18.0 it the folder, now I installed Mario Kart 8 there is Cemu 1.17.5 in it, when i want to add mario kart 8 to my Cemu 1.18.0 where my Twilight Princess is on, the file is empty, I can add it on the Cemu in the Mario Kart folder but I want both games on Cemu 1.18.0, Thank you

I got cemu and tried booting up botw like it was dolphin, with minimal changes to settings. This helped out an insane amount. I went from ~15 fps with major glitches to never below 60fps. Thanks a ton

What about "This title is encrypted. To run this application open keys.txt and add the disc title key" this error accurs on Zelda BOTW,Zelda Twilight Princess, Super Mario 3D World and Mario&Sonic at the Rio 2016 in all these games even if i change the keys manually they dont work at all any suggestion for this error??

You NEVER need to hit "Apply" before hitting "OK" in Windows. Applying is for when you want to immediately apply your changed, then continue to make changes. Clicking OK will apply settings and close the windows. I am a Microsoft Certified Professional, and I endorse this message.

You're supposed to own a legal copy of the game and basically copy it onto your pc.

@@birbdoos8821 You are correct. Cemu is a Wii U emulator, Nintendo Switch games won't work with it. However, there is also a Nintendo Switch emulator but I have no experience with it.

Might be late to the scene, but this totally fixed it! I was trying to fix this issue for more than 5 hours but went from 15-22fps to 35-40 on hyrule and 50-60fps on shrines! Here are my specs: I5 5200u 8gb 1600mhz ddr3 ram 2gb nvidia 940m game on ssd Cemu 1.26.2f I'm glad I was able to find this video, I was fine with the 22 fps but the issue of bokoblins not appring is a dealbraker for me and I was on the verge of deleting the game. Luckily I found this video! Still helpful after the updates on cemu!

I'm not sure, but I think Ryujinx significantly improved performance with the latest versions. I haven't run it on my rig for a while and have seen much better performance. Remarkable indeed! I have to say that I'm starting to prefer it to Yuzu too.

Almost everything ok here. I did exactly what you said, but move controls of my dual sense aren´t working. Server opened on DS4 windows, DSU1 by slot... Two only differences: In my CEMU, it apears as controler 2, instead controler 1 (I have only one controller pluged, wich is weird) and I´m using DS with usb cable. Motion control used to work with my DS4 + Bluetooth connection. So, Is cemuhook back ? I was playing with 1.17.4. motion control Never worked fine here with cemu versions tha doesn´t need cemuhook.

cemuhooks latest version supports up to 1.22.6 but the latest cemu version is 1.22.7 so thats probably why
