This is honestly spectacular. Definitely using it in any future American cities of mine. I know it's not your sorta thing, but I hope someone decides to design some European bridges in a network like this as well. I imagine it would be an enormous pain in the ass to set up though.

Leovigild - Part of the reason I picked the Bay Bridge is because it works pretty well as the Forth Bridge in Scotland as well.

Great tutorial! Didn't realize that stretching the road segment to 300m makes the span look the most realistic.

You can stretch further with move it (i think without having tested). This way even the vanilla span can be made beautiful!

That is neat. The bridge going into Cincinnati is a double decker too. I know this is 5 years old and you might not even see this but if you can make the old highway 190 bridge coming into Baton Rouge that would be great. The east and west bound lanes are divided by a single rail track. It is tall, narrow and scary to drive across.

I love this, I'm so glad to see bridges with approaches. It's always so difficult for me to transition my highways into my large bridges so this is exactly what I've been looking for.

Not sure if feature was added later or bsquiklehausen doesn't realize that Move-It mod has one neat feature that can make building this bridge or any other double-decked transportation easier. When you are using the copy function, hold down the ALT key. This way the mod will make a copy at the same place as the original so all you had to do is adjust the height with the Page Down button. No more having to fumble about the precision.

Hey there, the bay Bridge was built by the same contractor as the 25th of April bridge in Portugal. They are very similar, th Portuguese bridge is red has 3 lanes on both sides so its wider and has a train lower deck unlike the bay Bridge. I think it would be nice to have the 25th of April bridge also in-game

This is so freaking awesome! If you ever make more bridges, you should make a cable-stayed bridge like the Sunshine Skyway/Roth Bridge!

You should try this with other bridges. Or make this to scale. Jerendable, the main bridge creator, doesn’t do much of it anymore. Really looking forward to some more!!! (Also I already used it for a New Orleans like causeway across a bay in my city

could you try doing the Akashi Kaikyo bridge? There is an asset available but it’s way too big and the deck only allows NExt 2 lane highways.

Is this mod good for making double decker elevated highways in general? Sorta like the old Alaskan Viaduct in Seattle or like the old highways around downtown San Francisco. Or is it just for big suspension bridges like the Bay Bridge?

Hi, It appears that the elevation options don't work correctly on my version. I have made the bridge but no matter what I do I can't get the lower deck road out of the bridge. I have done as you suggest but every time I select the lower elevation it just says something else is in the way. Any assistance you could supply would be great. Also really great tutorial.

All good. I worked out a different way. If I make the bridge a little longer. then after I have finished the bridge I upgrade the ends part to Upper desks, then move them with move it. I can fan the ends. Worked great. :) Cheers. :)

Awesome! But unfortunately the road texture doesn't fit to any vanilla road :( could you please do a version with a darker road that fits vanilla? Or tell us how we could get that through mods?

The deck is intentionally lighter to represent concrete rather than asphalt.

This asset is simply amazing and still works completely fine in my new city, the only issue is the pillars in the suspension section in not there.... Only the cables are present, Am I doing anything wrong?

Gabriel Peinado Yes - it's professional software and is quite expensive. I'd recommend doing simpler motion graphics to start with, and moving to custom stuff later.

So dumb question cause i'm obviously missing it. What is allowing you to clip the lower deck through the bridge? I thought it was just the precision engineering mod, but evidently not and works fine until it hits the support pylon. Am i missing something?

You need to make sure you have Fine Road Anarchy installed, enabled, and active as well.
