Rail Bottom Out just sounds so much better in my opinion. Glad to see so many manufacturers returning to this design. Great video!

I'm just happy for new and different switches. It's good to have some more variety again.

What are some of the past popular rail bottom out switches? I am rather new to this type.

@@wambam all of your classic switches like Cherry Blacks and Reds, JWK Alpacas and Tangerines, Gateron Yellows, NK Silks, Zealios, all are Rail bottom out.

hope that we get a new wave of 4mm travel switches, so so excited for this! Also feel like there’s so many new and interesting material combinations that have only been available in long pole switches, it’s an exciting time

Same! I’m personally a little bit fatigued from long pole switches.

@@ScoopedBar Definitely, I got long-poled out during the original Tecsee craze, now most of my boards use Cherry switches, I’m so boring, haha (though have been impressed by some of the recent HMX offerings).

@@ImOnMy116yea, it’s crazy we’re at a point where switches can be used stock. Factory lubing have come a long way.

these switches are great in terms of factory lubing and sound! bsun and unikeys nailed it in that expect. However, this switch has a design flaw where pressing the top part of the key results in a mushy and just weird bottom with the sound akin to silent switches. Pressing the bottom part of the key is fine; switches bottoms out and sounds good.

Yea it may not be for everyone. I’m totally good with vendors and manufacturers trying new things :)
