Like Zack Snyder said about how spaceships work on Rebel Moon, "Who cares? It's fantasy." There's no plan, no logic, no worldbuilding, there's just what the writers think will look cool and progress the story in the easiest way possible. Not because they think it's the easiest way, but because they can only connect two dots at a time, whether they make sense or not.

I love that you guys are limiting guests! I find FNT difficult to watch with the 3000 guests. Also Darkhour is so sweet to ensure that everyone who was trying to speak but was interrupted has a chance to be heard. Great episode!

I think the writers for ROP decided to dam up the river because they think Gil-Galad(or any powerful elves) can unleash a flood to wash away the orcs, like Arwen in the movies (Elrond in the books).

1:23:45 - My main problem with 2022's "The Batman" was how each and every good person in the film (apart from Batman and Alfred) was a person of color, and each and every bad guy (with no exception) was a white male. The Penguin continues that, but adds females to the bad guys, and eventually brings more diversity to the villains. Still no white good guys.

I like Penguin but Reaper's 100% right about how none of this shit would be tolerated in an actual gang. I still remember in The Wire where a boy gets shot by his own best mates because they think he's a rat; literally the only reason he dies is because the gangsters don't know how sophisticated the surveillance team is and the boy was out of town for a few days. Just him being off the grid during their bust was enough for them to put him down.

So far it's really fun performances and character stuff, but really dumb floompy plotline. Enjoying it so far but if it gets any dumber or fucks up any of the characters last-minute, it'll fall apart

Never been quite so enamored with someone's voice as Platoon, he could summon the Valar with such a Plummy Timbre✨ 🚬 discovered him during the first season of ROP absolute abomination of a show and the whole family and friends are likewise, now enthralled like a drug I introduce them to, now nobody can relax properly without a platoon video on 🤣 , definitely should do audiobooks he could be to Tolkien what the wonderful Stephen Fry is to Harry Potter. Great to see Despot on too, as someone from North of Ireland i usually hate my local youtubers as they often take on a pretentious Americanised Ulster for some reason but despot is brilliant and spot on, a firm fave now.

The funny thing is that I've heard people not liking different live action Batman movies but I've never heard anybody say they didn't like the Batman animated series from the nineties. Don't get me wrong. I love the animated series but as I said I don't know anybody who wouldn't like it.

After watching that juvenile slop called 'DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE', 'MEGALOPOLIS' is an artistic revelation. Coppola catered to this vision for the last 25 years plus and it showed. It was bold, audacious and in some parts psychedelic. Yes, it was a long in certain sections but the overall creative arc was outstanding. Yes, it's not for the masses because sublimely it touches upon The Tower of Babel, Greed, Lust, Anarchy, Power and The Architecture of the Mind,...so believe me, not everyone is going to get into this movie. However, what Coppola and that cast and crew conveyed was that art, commerce, culture and creativity can be used to hopefully uplift and elevate the human mind and thinking and by creating and financing 'MEGALOPOIS' on his own, FRANCIS FORD COPPOLA has certainly done that. - James D. Watkins, artistic director of PHOENIX PRODUCTIONS.

Hard watching this I cant lie. I'm sure he's a wonderful person, but Reaper's speach affect, where most every sentence ends sounding like a question is tough to listen to. I dont know where the accent is from, Is it a regional thing? It remindes me too much of the Californian Valley girl affect thats far worse. Maybe if I understand it better, if it's indeed how everyone from his region speaks I can try to be more accepting, but it's tough.

One is a cinematic genius and the other is a superficial celebrity. However, they both put their money where they wanted to. FRANCIS FORD COPPOLA deserves my allegiance because he directed TUCKER: A MAN AND HIS DREAM and of course BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA which is a work of pure unadulterated GENIUS. Plus he has always been in financial turmoil when it came to financing his ZOETROPE STUDIOS. That takes Big, Thick Balls and I appreciate it. There's strokes of GENIUS in all artists and with each stroke, longevity and Artistic Immortality(A.I.) is born and derives.
